Winter Concert 2024
On 19th December, we had our annual Winter Concert. The night featured students from all year groups performing a variety of songs showcasing their talents. The night featured orchestral performances, choirs, solos, bands and more.
A notable performer was Rubysue in Year 7 who blew the audience away with her beautiful rendition of ‘Talking to the Moon’ by Bruno Mars. Dylan in Year 7 also amazed attendees as he held his own and showed off his fantastic guitar skills playing alongside older students. Tiara in Year 11 sang and performed in many of the songs throughout the night but truly displayed her abilities during her phenomenal cover of ‘Saving All My Love for You’. Her vocal work and falsettos had the audience cheering multiple times throughout her songs. We were also delighted for alumni Franky to return to the school to play piano along with Year 13 Lauren on violin. Lauren has been learning the violin at Laureate since Year 7 and showcased her talent during a remarkable duet performance of ‘Carol of the Bells’.
We are so proud of all the students who took part. The night was a result of a lot hard work and practice and it was fantastic to see all of our students shine.
