Quotes from Current Staff

I'm proud to be a part of Laureate because we don't just prioritise education; we also value empathy and understanding, creating an environment where every child can flourish. Mr Habib Al-Mosewi, Maths Teacher (Second-in-charge)

"Laureate Academy has allowed me to develop my teaching practice by leveraging my existing skillset and expanding it beyond my prior professional experiences. What makes me unique as a teacher is valued here. Their student led approach to expectations and outcomes make it a creatively engaging place to teach Performing Arts". Mr Jonathan Garrett, Drama Teacher

I have worked at Laureate Academy since 2020 and I have loved working here because there is a clear sense of dedication and enthusiasm from all the staff to create a calm and purposeful atmosphere that ensures that all students have a positive learning experience. Laureate Academy’s commitment to academic excellence is unwavering, with a firm belief that every student should access a knowledge-rich curriculum that is both academically challenging and encapsulates the belief that all students can access the best that is thought and known. There is also a commitment that students should receive meaningful enrichment opportunities that go beyond the classroom, which includes everything from artistic and cultural trips to high quality work experience, all of which ensures our students can leave Laureate as well-rounded young adults. There is also a strong commitment to staff development, with regular CPD, and through Future Academies there are lots of trust-wide opportunities, which makes working at Laureate an exciting place to work. Mr Nick Palmer, Assistant Principal

The Laureate staff really care about our students, and I love being part of this team. We are a stricter school than some, and this is because we care about our students and really want to challenge them to achieve their best both academically and in wider school life . I love that all the students greet me politely and wish me a good day at the end of my lessons. I love that no learning is lost to poor behaviour as the school has amazing centralised systems in place to support students and teachers if needed. I love the extra-curriculum offer in place and the opportunities this provides for the students and myself as a member of staff. Mrs Sarah Hill, Head of Geography
