Year 9 into GCSE Options

Year 9 students at Laureate Academy will be choosing their GCSE options over the next couple of months. This is an exciting opportunity for students to choose the subjects they are passionate about to continue studying over KS4. To help students make the decisions best for them we will aim to offer support and guidance when they make their choices. 

Our Year 9 Options Evening is combined with Year 9 Parents' and Carers' Evening and will be on Thursday 26th March 2026.

Submitting your subject choices

Parents and students are strongly encouraged to attend the combined Y9 Parents' and Carers' Evening and Options Evening, taking place on Thursday 26th March, prior to submitting subject choices. This evening will provide a great opportunity to hear about students' current progress in lessons, as well as the opportunity to hear about the options process. There are three scheduled talks that will take place throughout the evening at 4PM, 5PM, and 6PM.

Once your decisions have been finalised, you can submit them via the following form: Year 9 options 2025-2026

Please ensure this form is completed by Friday 1st May 2026.
