At Laureate Academy we want members of our community to confidently share their concerns and seek advice when needed. Care, respect and integrity are key principles of our safeguarding practice, and we strive to ensure that all students experience high quality pastoral support throughout their time at Laureate Academy.

If you have a concern that a child is being harmed, at risk of harm or you receive a disclosure, please report it immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Leads or, if there is an immediate risk of harm, call 999. 

 

Student Reporting

Students are always welcome to raise concerns directly with the Safeguarding Team. Alternatively, any concerns or incidents of bullying can be reported using the forms below:

Policies

Our safeguarding policies set out the measures in place to promote student wellbeing, outline how concerns are identified and managed, and explain the support available to those who need it. These policies apply to all students, staff, volunteers, and visitors, and are regularly reviewed to ensure they reflect current guidance and best practice. Our safeguarding policy can be found here. Safeguarding in the Curriculum

We hold six Safeguarding Weeks each academic year, one per half term. These link directly to the PSHE focus for the half term and give students further guidance and support through Tutor Time activities and assemblies.
